Helen Keller Hospital Employee Recognized



Sheffield, Ala. - Melanie Greer, RN, has been recognized by the Concurrent Utilization Review Program (CURP) for her hard work and dedication to her job. Melanie is a Case Manager at Helen Keller Hospital and has 28 years of nursing experience. She has worked as a Case Manager at HKH since 2003.

Melanie was featured in the latest issue of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield CURP Facts publication as the "Spotlight Reviewer". This recognition was given to Melanie for her detailed reviews, being organized and conscientious, and for playing a large role in weekly self-audits in Case Management and the Business Office. The recognition states, "Melanie is a perfectionist when it comes to Blue Cross reviews. Melanie is truly a star and a great asset for Helen Keller Hospital!"

CURP is a partnership between Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama and participating hospitals. The goal of CURP is to ensure appropriate and efficient use of hospital services while maintaining high-quality patient care.
