Grainger Foundation Supports Helen Keller Hospital Foundation

Sheffield, Ala. - The Grainger Foundation, an independent, private foundation based in Lake Forest, Illinois, has donated $5,000 to the Helen Keller Hospital Foundation for use in its Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Labor and Delivery areas.

"This grant will be used to purchase fetal monitors for the Women's Center," said Pam Fleming, Helen Keller Hospital Foundation Director. "These items increase the quality of life for our newborn babies. We are grateful to The Grainger Foundation for its generosity."

This donation was recommended by John Hunter, Operations Manager of W.W. Grainger, Inc.'s, Huntsville location. Grainger has been a part of the greater Huntsville business community for more than 35 years as the leading broad line supplier of maintenance, repair, and operating products. "We are proud to recommend the programs offered by the Helen Keller Hospital Foundation," said Hunter. "We understand the need for the women and newborn services offered by this hospital."

The Grainger Foundation, an independent, private foundation based in Lake Forest, Illinois, was established in 1949 by William W. Grainger, founder of W.W. Grainger, Inc.

The Helen Keller Hospital Foundation was founded in 2000. The purpose of this non-profit organization is to allow the hospital to continue to provide the most advanced healthcare possible to this community.
